Pike Mountaineering & Trekking (P) Ltd. is a privately owned guiding company based in Kathmandu. We specialize in custom Guiding Services throughout Nepal. Our ventures include day walks, multi-day treks, high pass crossings and mountaineering. We customize treks and expeditions to suit your requirements.

Nepal is a small and beautiful Himalayan kingdom with borders mainly with India and China. It is full of joys and treasures and in the northern part of the country are most of the world's highes mountain including Mt. Everest [8848m] In addidtion to Mt. Everest, Kanchenjunga (8586m), Lhotse (8516m), Makalu (8463m), Cho-Oyu (8201m), Dhaulagiri (8167m), Manaslu (8163m) amd Annapurna (8091m) are all located in Nepal.

Once Nepal opened its gates to foreign travelers in 1950, it became possible to challenge these mountains and to hike and trek to this tiny Himalaya kingdom. In the beginning, it was mainly a matter of climbing the 8000 meter Peaks and then climbers began to attempt various untried routes on other high mountains. Today, many Sherpa climbers are attempting high ascents without oxygen equipment and have set many records, such as 18 times to the summit of Everest without oxygen, more than 25 hours stay on the top of Mt. Everest  and the youngest climber to reach the top.
